Yunnan sits where China meets Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam, and its food tastes like it: wild mushrooms from the mountains, cured pork and beef, mint, lemongrass and lime from the Dai villages, potatoes done a dozen ways, and fish cooked in passion fruit broth. Impression of Yunnan Table brings that kitchen to a small heritage shop on Mary Ann Street, a short walk from Central and UTS.
